SwitchBot Launches Matter-Compatible K10+ Pro Combo Robot Vacuum Cleaning System

Just a few weeks after launching a pair of smart air purifiers, SwitchBot is expanding its Matter-compatible portfolio once again with the launch of a new home vacuuming system—the K10+ Pro Combo. As its name suggests, the K10+ Pro Combo is a versatile 3-in-1 cleaning solution featuring a powerful robot vacuum, a self-emptying base, and a removable lightweight cordless stick vac.

SwitchBot K10+ Pro Combo: Why it Matters

Starting with the robot portion of the cleaning system, the included Mini K10+ Pro currently holds the crown for the "world's smallest robot vacuum" at just 248mm wide according to SwitchBot. The smaller size allows it to fit into narrow areas where other vacuums cannot go, and despite its compact size, it can easily handle common household cleaning tasks with its strong 3,000Pa suction power.

For urgent messes or deeper cleaning, K10+ Pro Combo owners can opt for the removable SwitchBot Cordless Vacuum which ramps up the power with 20,000Pa. The stick vac works with a variety of included cleaning attachments such as a flat-head brush, crevice brush, sofa brush, and the larger, lighted anti-tangle floor brush. 

Finally, there's the SwitchBot FusionBase which automatically collects dust from both the robot vacuum and the stick vac after each use. Inside the base is a large capacity (3L) dust bag that stores up to 70 days worth of dirt, dust, and more before needing to be emptied.

Like other SwitchBot products, the K10+ Pro Combo requires one of the company's smart hubs to enable Matter connectivity. Available hubs from the company include the SwitchBot Hub 2 and the latest generation SwitchBot Hub Mini, each of which are capable of also acting IR-blasters that can make older appliances smart.

Once connected to Matter, users can access basic robot vacuum functions with a tap. Users will also be able to call on voice assistants such as Alexa, Google, and Apple's Siri through their phones or a smart speaker to start and stop cleaning tasks.

The SwitchBot K10+ Pro Combo is available now in North America and the U.K. with a retail price of $799/£666.66.
