Schlage Unveils Cutting-Edge Smart Locks at CES 2025
Schlage unveiled cutting-edge smart locks at CES 2025. The Sense Pro with Matter-over-Thread boasts hands-free unlocking using Ultra Wideband. The Arrive Smart WiFi Deadbolt offers easy keypad entry and direct home Wi-Fi connection. Both integrate seamlessly with the updated Schlage Home app.

US lock manufacturer Schlage, with a background in home security dating back over 100 years, has unveiled a new Matter-compatible smart lock at CES 2025.
Two locks have been shared by Schlage. Offering app integration and Matter-over-Thread, the Schlage Sense Pro Smart Deadbolt offers a new way to securely access and protect your smart home. The Schlage Arrive Smart WiFi Deadbolt, apparently without any Matter support, has also been announced.
Schlage Sense Pro Smart Deadbolt
With Matter-over-Thread compatibility (what is Thread?), the Schlage Sense Pro™ Smart Deadbolt is designed to unlock your door automatically as you approach it. This is achieved using Ultra Wideband and a paired device, in order to “intelligently understand” your proximity and intent with Schlage Converge™ technology.
It’s handsfree, but also has physical unlock options, including NFC (you can tap your mobile) and keypad codes.
Schlage Arrive Smart WiFi Deadbolt
A push-button keypad deadbolt with built-in WiFi, there is currently no indication that the lock is Matter-compatible (However, it supports up to 250 access codes, can track history of code use, and delivers notifications voa the Schlage Home app. It is compatible with Alexa and Google Home.

Both locks offer enhanced security with remote access management and notications, along with effortless keyless entry. Meanwhile, an updated version of Schlage Home app (available early 2025 on iOS and Android) works with both devices, providing a handy interface for managing all your Schlage smart locks.
When Will the New Schlage Smart Home Locks Be Available?
As with many products at CES, the new Schlage locks are not yet available to buy.
The Matter-over-Thread Schlage Sense ProTM Smart Deadbolt is expected to be available for purchase later this year. Meanwhile, the Schlage ArriveTM Smart WiFi Deadbolt will be available for purchase in late Spring 2025.
