The Matter standard continues to attract support across multiple hardware vendors. Today the CSA group announced the following additions to the Matter group:

Promoters

Allegion - Allegion makes security products for homes and businesses. Among their 31 global brands, they own Schlage, Stanley, Kryptonite & others. The company employs around 12,000 people, sells its products in more than 130 countries across the world.

Wulian Group - Wulian is a manufacturer and supplier for Smart Home products. The company was founded in 2009 and their current product lineup includes energy-efficient lighting, home appliances management, environmental detection, and more. In 2015, Wulian joined the ZigBee Alliance.

Adopters

Loxone - This is a smart home integrator in both Europe and the USA. They specialize in lighting, heating, ventilation, security, multimedia, and much more. Their home automation system utilizes intelligent sensors, actuators, and a central control unit to automate and manage your devices.

Big Ass Fans - This very uniquely named fan maker claims to be "the world's biggest manufacturer of HVLS fans." They also claim on their website that over 80% of Fortune 500 companies use their products. Now they're venturing into the smart home space (hopefully under another name!)

GigaDevice - This 18 year old IoT chipmaker is based in Beijing, China. But they have offices in all parts of the world, including the US and Europe.

Aixlink - is another IoT chipmaker based in Sinchuan, China.

Participants:

U-tec - This company specializes in smart locks, with their devices compatible with all major smart home systems. Now they're adding Matter to the list. They produce things like handles, deadbolts, fingerprint-operated locks, and much more.

Primax - is a smart home integrator based in Taiwan. Some of the devices they produce include smart security cameras, smart sensors and trackers, smart doorbells, smart speakers, and much more.

fibocom - specializes in making 5G wireless devices for IoT. Since smart home devices need to be fast in order to be effective, having a 5G wireless device manufacturer in the Matter team will be invaluable.

The most interesting of these is Loxone, who is a leading smart-home integrator who installs smart home appliances across the globe.

Allegion, which owns Schlage locks, Stanley doors, Kryptonite and other brands in the lock ecosystem, is a notable addition to this group as well.
