Smart home specialists Zemismart have a collection of interesting Matter products in their catalog, many of which are on show at CES 2025. We visited their booth to get a good look at what they have on offer.

What Did Zemismart Bring to CES 2025?

While plenty of big names are at CES making announcements about significant new products, a fair share of smaller smart home device manufacturers are also present. Founded in 2014, Zemismart produces a huge selection of hardware with Matter compatibility, from LED strips to hubs, motorized blind and curtain systems to switches, and much more beside.

Using Matter, these devices are compatible with the many smart home ecosystems – Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Apple HomeKit, SmartThings, HomeAssistant and more.

At CES 2025, Zemismart has the following devices on display at their booth #53666:

  • Matter hub

  • Switches

  • Lights

  • Switch relays (labeled “inline modules”)

  • Roller blinds

  • Curtains

  • Window shade

  • Sensors

This is one of the widest collections of Matter-compatible devices we’ve seen, so it’s worth taking a better look at what Zemismart can bring to your smart home.

Zemismart’s 2025 Smart Home Devices in Detail

Matter Hubs

Zemismart’s range kicks off with a pair of Matter hubs.

Available since 2023, the Zemismart M1 Hub supports Zigbee and Thread, as well as Wi-Fi connections. It’s one of the more affordable Matter hubs around.

The Zemismart M6 Hub is a Matter controller and bridge. It supports up to 125 devices, and utilizes the Zigbee protocol. An external antenna is included, which is apparently able to transmit through multiple walls.

Switches

Zemismart’s switches are pretty stylish, and come in a selection of different configurations and colors. You’ll find standard 3-way switches, multiple switches (gangs) on a single panel, and these are suitable for lights, preferred Matter-compatible devices, curtain control, and more. These new switches on display are all Matter over Thread.

Switches can be controlled remotely too, either via the app (which supports timer and multiple device control) or by using your favored voice assistant.

Zemismart also showcased switches with built-in outlets.

Lights

Various lighting solutions are available from Zemismart, from smart bulbs and recessed downlights to LED strips. These devices (which include a filament lightbulb) are all Matter over Wi-Fi.

A pair of strip light drivers are available for LEDs. The CW driver handles standard white bulbs, whereas the RGB+CW driver is for multicolored LEDs. Again, these are Matter over Wi-Fi.

Inline Modules

Multipurpose inline modules (wall recess relays) are also avalable from Zemismart, offering 2-way control. These Matter over Wi-Fi devices are 2.4GHz only, using Wi-Fi 4. These devices have a maximum load of 600W.

Roller Blinds, Curtains, and Shades

Perhaps the most interesting aspect of Zemismart’s range are its roller blind, curtain, and shade controllers. These appear quite impressive, and seem to cover multiple sizes and scenarios.

Several Matter over Thread Roller Motors are available from Zemismart. These come in a variety of lengths, and are suitable for Shangri-la shades and other blinds (Zebra blinds, roller shades, etc.). Matter over Wi-Fi variants are available, with the same control options – remote control, app control, and voice control.

A Matter over Wi-Fi electric blind motor for Venetian, pleated, honeycomb, and Roman blinds is also available. Again, these have remote, app, and voice assistant control capability over Matter.

Zemismart also has some Matter over Wi-Fi curtain systems. These range from a basic motor (compatible with existing curtains with a basic manual mechanism) to full curtain opening tracks and even an electric curtain track.

Finally, the Zemismart Roller Shade Driver is another Matter over Thread system. This is intended for blinds that are already installed, and as such, it bears a load of 10Kgs. It’s knob controlled, and fits most blind cord systems. The Zemismart Roller Shade Driver features a built-in 6400mAh battery, which can be recharged by solar panel.

Other Smart Home Devices

In addition, Zemismart displayed various other Zigbee or Wi-Fi only devices. Energy meters without Matter support are available, along with smart remotes and various Zigbee variants of the Matter devices. We also saw some smart home sensors from Zemismart.

How Zemismart Differs from Other Matter Smart Home Gear

You may notice from some of the descriptions that Zemismart differs from other companies in how it describes its devices. Whereas most smart home hardware OEMs use Matter and expect you to work out whether it is using Wi-Fi, Thread, Zigbee, etc., Zemismart’s devices are explicitly clear.

This is useful if you’re building a smart home and you already know about Matter – you can easily identify what you’re buying and how it should work with your hub and other devices. Zemismart offers custom tailored whole-home smart solutions built to your specifications.

Just like the hardware on offer, this is a refreshing approach from Zemismart.
