It's also known as a Range Hood. Its primary function is to either extract the air from above the cooking area or recirculate it through a filtering system, with options for HEPA or activated carbon filters. Additionally, many Extractor Hoods include an integrated light to illuminate the cooking surface, adding both practical and aesthetic value to the kitchen environment.

This device type includes several required and optional clusters for managing various aspects of its operation. The Fan Control cluster, which is mandatory, allows for managing airflow settings, such as speed and direction, with specific features like "Rocking," "Wind," and "AirflowDirection" to adjust ventilation. Optional clusters include HEPA and Activated Carbon Filter Monitoring, providing insights into filter status and maintenance needs. An On/Off Light component can also be included as an optional device type, allowing users to control the hood light for additional convenience and visibility.
